Tamannaah Bhatia has confirmed in a recent interview that she is dating her co-star from Lust Stories 2, Vijay Varma. The 33-year-old actress described Varma, a 37-year-old actor from Hyderabad, as her “happy place.”

During an interview with entertainment portal Film Companion, Tamannaah expressed her admiration for Varma, saying, “He’s someone I really look up to, and he’s someone with whom I bonded very naturally.” She further elaborated on their connection, stating, “I have created a world for myself, and here is a person who genuinely understands that world without me having to explain anything. He’s someone I deeply care about and he brings me joy.” The confirmation of their relationship indicated that their closeness developed while working together on Lust Stories 2, an anthology featured on Netflix.

Tamannaah also shed light on their compatibility, emphasizing simplicity and friendship as the foundation of their connection. She said, “I’m a really down-to-earth person, and I’m attracted to someone who shares that simplicity. He’s incredibly talented in his craft. For me, friendship is a crucial aspect of any relationship. Essentially, he’s someone I can share laughter with.” The actress praised Varma’s journey as an actor and expressed her hope that his talent and achievements will be celebrated in the future.

Vijay Varma has received critical acclaim for his roles in various films, including Darlings, where he portrayed Hamza alongside Alia Bhatt and Shefali Shah. More recently, he gained recognition for his performance as Anand Swarnakar in the Amazon Prime thriller series Dahaad. Lust Stories 2 marks the first collaboration between Varma and Tamannaah, and the eagerly awaited four-part anthology will premiere on Netflix on June 29.
