Pune, India – In a remarkable move, Hero MotoCorp, the largest motorcycle manufacturer in India, has reintroduced the legendary Passion Plus bike in an updated 100cc variant. Priced at an attractive Rs 76,301 at the Delhi showroom, this relaunch comes three years after the model was discontinued due to the implementation of the BS6 norms.
The 2023 Hero Passion Plus retains the beloved design language of its predecessor while receiving a visual makeover with captivating new graphics adorning its body panels. This relaunched model is set to directly compete with formidable rivals such as the Honda Livo, Honda Shine, TVS Radeon, and Bajaj Platina.
Enthusiasts will have the opportunity to choose from three stunning color options: Sports Red, Black Nexus Blue, and Black Heavy Grey, further enhancing the bike’s allure and personalization potential.
The Hero Passion Plus boasts an impressive hardware setup, featuring telescopic front forks for improved suspension and dual spring-loaded shock absorbers at the rear to deliver a smooth and comfortable ride. Safety is prioritized with drum brakes equipped with IBS (Integrated Braking System), ensuring reliable and efficient stopping power.
Under its stylish exterior, the Hero Passion Plus is powered by a robust 97.2cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This powerhouse generates an impressive 7.9 bhp and 8.05 Nm of torque, providing ample acceleration and performance. Paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox, the motorcycle promises an engaging riding experience. Although Hero has not officially disclosed the motorcycle’s mileage, it is anticipated to deliver approximately 60 kmpl under real-world riding conditions.
